A truck crash in the Whitsunday region has closed the Bruce Highway and cut power to more than 200 properties this morning.
Ergon crews were called to Myrtlevale just after 4am to replace the power pole, which has snapped in half.
The highway is still shut and motorists are urged to avoid the area.

The truck driver, a man in his 40s, suffered minor injuries and declined transport to hospital.
