It’s time to rally behind your school, Mackay and the Whitsundays — $10,000 is up for grabs and the title of Star’s School of the Year 2025 is on the line!

Now is the time to register, so let your Principal and P&C know as registrations will close on Friday 1 August.

We’ll be broadcasting live from the Top 3 finalist schools during the final week Monday 18 August to Wednesday 20 August — and you might even see the Star car and Street Teamers rolling through the gates with epic giveaways and surprises.

There’s also a Tuckshop Takeover up for grabs, with the Star crew helping out behind the counter! Want your school to win it? Get creative on socials — think talent shows, giant handmade signs, or students spelling out huge messages on the school oval.

Show your school pride, back your community, and help crown this year’s champion.
