Every year June is always a big month for releases and this year it’s going to be bigger than ever with a brand new console launch and a mega franchise title coming with it.
NIntendo
We’ll start with Nintendo because they have that new “Nintendo Switch 2″ console dropping on June 5 and it is epic. Coming with the console launch we’ll see the brand new ‘Mario Kart World” a game where you can drive on the roads between races and ride rails for boosts.
Also coming for launch is Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild & Tears of the Kingdom (switch 2 editions), Split Fiction, Sonic X Shadow Generations, Hitman: World of Assassination (signature edition), Hogwarts Legacy, Civilization VII and more.
PlayStation
Over on the Sony console things are looking great as well when we finally get our hands on the new Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. The game has amazing star power and is partially set in Australia so we can’t wait to see what they have done to us on June 26.

Dune: Awakening is a large-scale open world multiplayer survival MMO set on the desert planet Arrakis, where players navigate a unique alternate timeline of the Dune universe, engaging in crafting, faction politics, and combat while striving to control the precious spice; We’ve been waiting for this for what feels like forever and June 10 is when we’ll finally get hands on it.
Stellar Blade the PlayStation action adventure game is coming to PC, so you can reclaim Earth for Humankind and look good doing it.

These are just some of the games coming in June 2025 that we think should be on your list, for us, the most exciting thing is the new console launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 and really long Mario Kart World sessions that will come with it.
