This bundle of joy, named Rocki Irish Mayers, made her grand entrance on September 13th, though the superstar couple chose to keep the news under wraps for a few weeks before sharing it with the world.
The “Diamonds” singer finally broke the news on Wednesday, September 24th, much to the delight of her millions of fans. Taking to Instagram, RiRi shared an absolutely adorable snapshot of herself cradling her newborn, looking every bit the doting mother. This intimate peek was followed by a playful image of two tiny pink baby boxing gloves, a subtle nod to the strength and spirit we’ve come to expect from the Fenty mogul’s growing family.
This new addition marks the third child for the power couple, who first sparked rumours of an expanding family after a high-profile appearance earlier this year. Rocki joins her two older brothers, RZA Athelston, 3, and Riot Rose, 2, completing what is fast becoming one of Hollywood’s most beloved and stylish families.
Fans have keenly followed Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s journey into parenthood. Their eldest son, RZA, was first announced in January 2022 during a now-iconic New York City stroll, with his birth following five months later. His unique name pays homage to the legendary Wu-Tang Clan producer and rapper RZA, while his second name, Athelston, is inspired by Rocky’s own middle name. The announcement of their second son, Riot Rose, was even more spectacular, as Rihanna famously debuted her baby bump during her electrifying Super Bowl Halftime Show performance in February 2023.
