A woman in her 20s has been taken to hospital after a reported irukandji sting in the Whitsundays.
Emergency crews were called to the marina on Shingley Drive at Airlie Beach shortly before 5pm on Saturday.
A QAS spokesperson says the woman was stung off South Molle Island but was treated appropriately and brought back to the marine onboard a vessel.

She was met there by paramedics and treated once again, before being taken to Proserpine Hospital in a stable condition.
