Paramedics have been called to the scene of two snake bites in the region.
A man in his 40s was bitten by a snake at Farleigh, at around 7.45pm yesterday
Emergency services attended the scene and assessed the man.

He was transported to Mackay Hospital for treatment.
Earlier another person was reportedly bitten at Sarina.
Paramedics rushed to the scene at around 3.10pm.
The patient was also transported to Mackay Hospital in a stable condition.
