Authorities are reminding residents of the dangers and consequences of speeding on our local roads.
Senior Constable Steve Smith say all motorists should be aware that police are actively performing speed enforcement patrols on our roads every day.
“Being caught speeding by police is preferable to causing a crash and injuring another person, or worse, both options are preventable,” he says.
“Police are urging all motorists to be responsible behind the wheel.”
