A man has been cut from the wreckage of a cane train crash at Oakenden.
Just after 12pm yesterday a cane train and a B double truck collided on Stanfords Road.
The crash caused the engine and eight carriages to flip off the track, trapping the driver and seriously injuring his legs.

He was freed and taken to Mackay Base Hospital in a critical condition.
It’s the third crash involving a cane train in two weeks and has sparked a warning from police.
The Forensic Crash Unit and Workplace Health and Safety are investigating the crash.
