A multi-agency operation has taken place at Mackay Airport.
Mackay Dog Squad and the Tactical Crime Squad have recently teamed up with the Australian Federal Police, Australian Border Force, and Mackay Airport for a coordinated deployment.
The operation focused on strengthening aviation security, with officers conducting patrols across the terminal and surrounding areas, carrying out targeted canine screening and sweeps, and engaging with airport staff to support compliance and safety efforts.
