Investigations are ongoing into a business break-in and a theft from a car in the region early yesterday morning.
Police say someone broke into a business along Walsh Avenue at Seaforth, between 2:00am and 6:00am on February 16.
They entered the building after smashing a front window.
The alleged intruder caused damage inside the business while trying to remove dispensing machines, however nothing has been reported stolen.
Meantime, at around 2.00am someone attempted to break into a home in South Mackay.
Officers say a person tried to force entry into a home on Milton Street.
They failed and instead stole a wallet from inside an unlocked car, at the same address.
CCTV footage has been obtained and is displayed below.
Anyone who might have information about either of these incidents is encouraged to contact police as soon as possible.
