A 71-year-old Bakers Creek man has died following a crash between a motorbike and a car at Yalboroo, north of Mackay.
Police say it happened at 11.45am on Saturday when a blue Toyota Corolla turned off the Bruce Highway and onto Cathu O’Connell River Road, in front of the motorbike.
The motorbike rider passed away while on route to hospital.

The driver of the car a 28-year-old New South Wales man, was not physically injured and is assisting police with investigations.
Witnesses or anyone with relevant vision is urged to contact police.
The forensic crash unit is investigating.
