A man has been rescued after going missing near Shoal Point overnight.
The man was last seen swimming from the beach at Shoal Point, headed towards Green Island in the afternoon.
When he didn’t return, the RACQ CQRescue chopper began a search of the area.

The swimmer was located shortly after, reportedly treading water just 150 metres from shore.
