A man has been flown to Townsville following an incident while snorkelling in the Whitsundays at the Great Barrier Reef.
Paramedics rushed to Hardy Reef, north east of Hook Island, after a accident just after 11.30am yesterday.
The man in his 70s was flown to Townsville Hospital in a stable condition.
