A man has been charged after allegedly ramming a police car in a stolen car at Cannonvale.
The 34-year year old is accused of driving the stolen vehicle into the police vehicle while officers were trying to intercept him on Abell Road around 4.45pm Friday.
No one was hurt during the incident, and the Bowen man was taken into custody a short time later.

He has since been charged with multiple offences including one count each of endangering a police officer when driving a motor vehicle, wilful damage and obstruct police officer.
The man is due to appear before the Proserpine Magistrates Court today.
Investigations are continuing.
