A man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting at Homebush.
It’s alleged the 31-year-old got into an altercation with a 40-year-old Oakenden man at a Palm Tree Road address on October 7 around 2.30pm.
During the fight, the 31-year-old Alligator Creek man is accused of shooting the other man in the hip.

The victim was later taken to hospital in a stable condition, with police charging the 31-year-old with one count of attempt to murder.
He is due to appear before Mackay Magistrates Court today.
