A West Mackay man accused of breaking into a home will face court today.
The 34-year-old allegedly entered a Green Street home, after kicking down a door at around 7.45am on Friday March 17.
Police say once inside, the man was verbally challenged by the resident and then fled the address on foot.

The man was later arrested as a result of police investigations which including CCTV footage.
The man has been charged with breaking and entering a dwelling and committing an indictable offence and also unlawfully entering a dwelling.
He will appear in custody at the Mackay Magistrates Court today to have the matter heard.
