A man has been hospitalised after being bitten by snake at Hay Point.
He was bitten on the ankle at a home around 8.10pm Monday.
Paramedics have taken the man in his 50s to Mackay Hospital in a stable condition.

Locals are being warned that the warmer weather is increasing snake activity in the region.
Latest Queensland Ambulance Service figures show that more than 100 Triple-0 calls have been made for snake bites in Mackay during the past 12 months.
