A man in his 30s has been bitten by a snake, at a private residence, in Andromache.
The serpent struck the mans foot at Gunyarra Road, at around 6.00 last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene and paramedics assessed the man.

He was taken to Proserpine hospital in a stable condition.
