A 61-year-old man has been charged after allegedly entering a premises and stealing in West Mackay.
Police say they found him inside a fenced business compound on Cemetary Road, at about 4.30am on Saturday.
The man was allegedly in possession of a quantity of copper wire.

Officers arrested him and he has since been charged with entering a premises and committing an indictable offence.
He will appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court on March 21.
