Part of a two-storey Queenslander home has gone up in flames at Proserpine.
Two fire crews were called to the scene on Chapman Street, at 1.15am this morning, and worked to extinguish the fire, which had engulfed the second floor.
Firefighters had the blaze under control by around 1.50am and had it out completely by 2.00am.

Paramedics were also on standby, with a Queensland Ambulance Spokesperson saying no patients required assessment.
