A crime scene is expected to be set up in Alligator Creek today after fire tore through a beloved local building.
A person from a neighbouring property reportedly raised the alarm just after 2am Monday after spotting smoke coming from the General Store.
Police, paramedics and five firefighting teams all responded.

It took about two hours to extinguish the fire that’s caused significant damage.
Investigations are underway to determine the cause.
Nobody was injured.
