Two people have been killed in a crash in the Whitsunday region.
Around 12.30pm yesterday, emergency services were called to a two-vehicle traffic crash on Peter Delemothe Road between Strathalbyn and Strathmore Roads at Springlands.
A Silver Mazda 2 and a white Toyota Hilux collided head-on.

The driver of the Mazda, a 63-year-old Collinsville man, and his passenger, a 61-year-old Collinsville woman, died at the scene.
The male driver of the Toyota was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are appealing for anyone with further information or relevant footage to contact police.
