A 26-year-old man has been arrested after an alleged break in at East Mackay.
The man allegedly forced entry into an accommodation unit, at East Gordon Street, on Monday morning.
Police say, a staff member found the man inside the accommodation at around 11.00am and confronted him because he had not paid for the unit.
The man allegedly fled the scene and entered bushland nearby, which lead to the Sandfly Creek area.
He was tracked down by the Mackay police dog squad unit and was arrested.
The man has been charged with a trespass offence and two counts of breaching bail.
