A man has been charged over an alleged break in at an East Mackay retirement village.
The 46-year-old is accused of entering the Good Shepherd Lodge on McIntyre Street on July 18, stealing multiple items including jewellery, identification, and cash belonging to a 95-year-old woman.
Police searched a Bellavista Court address in Beaconsfield on Tuesday and located several items of jewellery.

The 46-year-old Beaconsfield man was charged with enter dwelling and commit, and possessing dangerous drugs.
He has been remanded in custody and due to reappear before Mackay Magistrates Court on 3 August.
