A woman has died, and a man has been seriously injured after a head-on crash west of Mackay.
The 57-year-old Roseneath woman was killed when her Audi Quatro collided with an Isuzu D-Max on Bowen Development Road at Newlands around 9.15am yesterday.
A 22-year-old man driving the Isuzu has been airlifted to Townsville Hospital with serious injuries.

Police are appealing to anyone with information or relevant vision to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
